Some electrical help please.
Hey folks,
#1 My right turn signal does not blink. Left works good. The blinker cam is busted but should I look somewhere else before I pull the steering wheel?? The lights all work. Does the blinker relay have a left and right or should I look for a bad ground? #2 Any problem with dumping my external alt for an internal one?? I seem to have a 0.2A draw from the external reg that's draining my battery. What else should I get while I'm at the store? #3 I have a hard time starting the truck after it's been running for a while. I figure it's a combination of the battery getting low and a hot starter. Thanks norville

i had almost the exact same thing happen to my truck. the left blinker wouldn't blink, but only wouldn't when my headlights were on. i had the same minor draw from my EVR too.
you're on the money. chase the ground for the blinker. swap to internal reg alt. don't know about the starter though. hope this helps

you sure there isn't a bad bulb on the turn signal? Turn on the 4 ways and see if that one comes on. If the bulbs are in fact good, then you have a ground issue.
I say this becouse it is uncommon for the lights to work with a bad ground. |

make sure that you are making good contact to the bulb, i had a similar issue once and i took a round wire brush and cleaned off the contacts inside the socket and in on the bulb.
