I want full length. Brand, Number, price if you can, I'll decide if i want to the ceramic coating or not, I know there was also something about Chevelle headers fitting ? thanx in advance, DAVE

F body headers should fit, maybe with some grinding of the frame or something like that though...

I had Hooker Competition full length headers on Yeller when it was SBC powered. It was lowered 4" in front at the time and I never had clearance problems. I don't have a part # handy, but they were the ones that fit our trucks.

lol. been asked on here a 1000 times. there are no full length headers that tuck all the way up in the frame that will just bolt right in, that i know of. the chevelle headers that i used and have been telling everyone on here about for the past 2 years are 3/4 length (basically a shorty, mabey a little longer). they are made by dynomax.

now a friend of mine is running some headman hustler f-body headers on his truck but he had to clearence the frame rails for the primary tubes, and build a tranny cross member that would work with the position of the collectors. but these headers do not hang below the frame rails, so it was worth the work for a 6/8 drop.

all the full length headmans and hookers, ect. that every one is running that bolt right up to these trucks with no modifications, hang below the frame so you chance hitting them with a really low truck.

Heddman Elites for a 67-69 Camaro. careful with anything smaller than a 400ci though, as they have 1 3/4" primaries.

those aren't headman elites and they don't fit without modding. thats a picture of matts truck and the headers are headman hustlers. to run them you have to cut the frame rails to clear the primaries and build a custom tranny crossmember like i mentioned earlier.

Only ones I have seen that are short are the ones I have, No clearance issues at all now. Hell my tranny would hit before my exhaust. JBA Headers, Nickel plated shorties. They are Awesome and have one of the thickest flanges I have ever seen. BUT...they retail for over 600 bux!! I got a deal and still paid over 400 haha

I think the chevelle header your talking about is for BBC. I have em' and they tuck up very nicely. It's part# 2455 Hooker makes em. I'll see if there are any chevelle headers for a sbc at my friends shop....he's got a 66 that has gone back and forth from sbc to bbc.

sorry, no headers at my friends shop. I would bet anything that full length(SBC) chevelle headers would work
