Minnesota Board Meet
The Minnesota board meet is 100% a go for October 2nd. If you get a chance, please let me know if you're coming or not; preferably via PM. I'll reply with my phone number for anyone that needs it.
WHAT Minnesota Board Meet! (note that anyone is welcome) WHERE The town is St. Louis Park... Here is an interactive map. The plan is to start at a nearby city park (Dakota Park)... It's a nice, easy-to-find place with good parking that's generally not busy at all. It has a large covered gazebo, restroom facilities, tables and a playground for those of you that might be bringing young'ns... I figure that will give everyone a chance to kick the tires and once we're all ready, we can move the shindig two blocks to my place for some grillin' and beer. WHEN The date is easy, it's October 2nd. The one thing we haven't done yet is set a time. I'm going to throw out 10:00 AM as an option. I figure that would give us enough time to gather up and land at the grill right about noon. Just chime in with your opinion and we'll figure it out. Q&A Q: Can I bring my wife? Kids? Dog? Rattlesnake? A: The wife and kids (mine will be there, obviously) are welcome, but it's probably best to leave the pets at home. Basically, don't bring anything that doesn't have a sense of humor or will start whining about going home 10 minutes after you get here. Q: What about food? I hear talk of a grill, but do I bring my own or what? A: It's a BYOBBQ event. I'll supply the grill and you supply the, well... whatever you like to grill. If you've got beverage preferences or if you'd like to bring non-poisonous food to share, please bring it along! Q: Where can I crash if I don't want to drive back the same day? A: I'd love to be able to put everyone up, but all the bedrooms are occupied at my place. Besides, my doberman gets a little nervous around strangers (although he'll be securely locked in his crate while everyone is here). There are several good hotels in the area, but be prepared to spend at least $70 for the night unless you drive a little bit. Can't wait to see everyone there!

Detailed Directions
Okay folks, please remember that I'm relatively new to Minnesota so I advise everyone to double-check this information. Since so many people asked, however, I'll give this my best shot.
Driving in from the North on I-35 SOUTH
Driving in from the South on I-35 NORTH
Driving in from the West on I-94 EAST
Driving in from the East on I-94 WEST
Be sure to PM me to get my phone number in case you have trouble. I've posted an interactive map link up above that you can use to do your route planning. Oh, and just so everyone knows, I've got all the tools necessary to do most repairs and there's a decent parts store just around the corner just in case Murphy's Law kicks in. The weather man is calling for a high of 65 degrees on October 2nd with partly cloudy skies and a 20% chance of precipitation so it should be a great day for the event. If the weather decides to get weird, however, you can keep an eye on this thread for any change in plans.
