Carb?

Winter is coming and I need to get my daily driver working good again and have a carb problem?
Seems if the vehicle sits for a period of time I have to pump the footfeet a bunch to get it to start. It is not the engine because the other carb I had on there usually fired first or second turn over with no foot feet. Should have left original on but needed it for another project.
Quadrajet 4 bl carb any ideas?

Is there fuel allready there or is it bleeding back and taking it a while to get back to the carb, causing long cranking to get the fuel back.I would spend the $20 or so bucks and get it rebuilt.A new fuel pump might be in the works to

I agree with Kaysee. might have a leaky bowl so it takes a little to prim the acc. pump for that first shot of gas.
