no spindles?
what is the most you can drop the front without using drop spindles?
Does anyone know what drop this guy has on his truck, he was at the pickups and panels show about 2 or 3 weeks ago?

How about telling us what you are trying to accomplish? You can get probably get 4-5" of drop without spindles but it will ride like crap. Be more specific and maybe we can offer a proper response...

I'm assuming on your 71 here....
3 inches is prety much the lowest I personally will go with just springs. At 3 inches, you still have decent ride and it can still be aligned with no trickery. Any deeper and you tend to start losing ground in a hurry.

He's got huge front tires. I imagine 3 inch drop would get you close to that.
