Proud new owner
I'm buying my 72 Chevy C10 long bed tomorrow. It's about time. This thing is getting the best treatment I can throw at it. It has a few little problems, like steering box is a little leaky, exhaust is shot but the body is in amazing shape for a 9 year old resto. And I need to raise it from it's lowered position. The rear springs are clamped short and the front ones are cut causeing the front end to bottom out. So I'll buy new front springs and unclamp the rear and when I get the money put dropped spindles on the front so it rides right again. I'll get pictures as soon as I can. Also, the fuel guage doesn't work because it's got a furl cell, so any info on routing a sending unit or anything would be a great help. WOO HOO

Congrats Brian, sounds like a good solid project, and those mods you've planned shouldn't take too long to wrap up.
Yep, PICs... SSOW

And some more. My mom says she feels special because everyone looks and points. hehe. And the first time fueling her up was a experiance. I have to climb halfway into the bed to get to the fuel cell and the lady behind me asked me what the hell I was doing.

way COOL
Longbeds ROCK. Funny story about the fueling. Nice pics, welcome! So those wheels, are they NASCAR style slots, but aluminum? Never seen those before.

Man...You weren't kidding about the body being nice. The paint in the engine compartment looks immaculate. Nice buy.

dude love the truck, longbeds do in fact rock. it's great when your truck gets noticed isn't it? how much did that truck set you back? (if you don't mind me asking) it looks to be in cherry condition

It cost me $5,800. He wanted 6 and wouldn't budge any lower. Oh well.
Pics taken in the school parking lot across from my house (brick one blocked by the cab on the side view) on Maple Road in Jeffersontown. Yeah, they do look NASCAR style and look aluminum, I haven't had a chance to really dig into this truck yet. For some reason they have this steel thing about them to, dunno. They do have cool three spoke centercaps though. Thanks for the compliments. Woulda had pics up sooner but I had to wash her. Then a bird crapped on a cab corner. Bah. And my dad and I are now in a battle for parking spots. He has a 82 C10 LB and it's getting crowded in my yard.
