head pricing

i have a friend that has a 63 vette who would like to by a set of camel hump heads from me. the heads are for a 1964 327 (491) and they have no accesory holes and 1.94/1.50 valves. the heads are in great condtion. how much should i sell them for?

I doubt you get any prices, as used parts prices are strictly supply and demand. I'm moving this post to a parts board, maybe you can get a suggestion there. BTW, your situation (someone needs the exact item you have for a resto) is ideal for the best price, IMHO.

the heads you got are stock as they come off the car,sometimes that makes them worth more sometime makes them worth less,depends on whos eyes is looking.i would say they are worth $250 if in good shape.

yea, these heads have are in great condtion with hardened valve seats. they guy told me he wants to go though them anyway. i thought that 250 would be a good price.
