Door Panels for a '69 GMC
Does anyone know where you can get inside door panels for a '69 GMC? The panels are available all over the place, but they have a bowtie top center. Not that I don't like the bowtie you understand, but it IS a GMC!

Past: '05 Sierra 4x4 - Had 270,000 KM and running well when it was written-off by a stop sign runner. '94 F-150 from the "F word" company. I'll admit it...good truck. Sold what was left of it for $800 to a guy who came to pick it up at 11:00 PM with cash in hand. Hmm. '79 Sierra Grande (Black) organ donor - perfect rebuildable 4-bolt 350 and a good TH350. '76 Sierra Grande (Orange) - hate isn't too strong a word. Kid who bought it turned it into a hot rod. '68 C-10 R.I.P. - Dad's old truck...too far gone to resurrect. '59 C-50 - with hoist. Truck is gone, wife isn't. Nuff said. |

My '69 GMC just has plain black metal door panels. No GMC or anything stamped on them. I would guess you just have to find some good condition originals to work with.

I have a set of green vinyl door panels from a '69 GMC "Custom" parts truck. The panels appear to be in decent shape and have a chrome strip on the top edge. I could send them to you COD on the bus if you want. I will send you a PM with a few other parts I have. I am in Prince Albert, Sask.

If you can't find any factory ones, your bes bet would be to get some 1970 panels. instead of saying GMC or a chevy bow tie, it'll have the wood grain strip instead.
