Big Block Motor Mounts/Towers
Bought a set of BB towers off of here (thanks 69 1/2 Six Pack Bee, they are really nice) But have run into some questions. When i lay they into the frame it appears they do not fit perfect and lay a little crooked. Do I have to drill new holes, I would have thought all the frames would be drilled from the factory to except either SBC or BBC? If I do need to drill holes that is fine but how do I know where to place the mounts??
Any help would be great, maybe someone has pictures of how their's looks thanks

When I did this using 72 BBC mounts on a 71 frame, we had to drill one hole in the crossmember. 3 holes (2 on framerail, one on crossmember lined up) and I'm pretty sure we used the forward (V8) position too.
Sorry no pics

Here is a pic
of the 72 BB stands. I will have to drill the hole in the crossmember once the engine is ready.
