Need to set a fair price for my 67
I have a 67 short bed, small window, pretty good steel bed with some holes drilled in it, small inline 6 manual truck that never had A/C. It would need a major restore. The engine runs, needs some tires and taillights to be able to drive. It has a lot of rust in all the usual places and i would need to completely redo the cab and replace a couple of fenders.. I'm sorry but no digital camera to post pictures. I got an offer for $900 but that seems low even for the condition it is in. I believe I probably value this truck (my first) more than other people would and want to set a realistic fair price for it. I do not have the skill to fix it or a place to store it anymore. I couldn't put more than a few thousand into fixing it up and so regretfully, it has to go. I live in Arizona. My hope is that it goes to someone that would restore it and not part it out. What would be fair market value of a truck that is going to need a complete cab restoration and a few other things to be a good daily driver?

Without pictures it is really tough to tell.
With the picture that you are painting I would not think that $900 is that far off. The body is the most expensive part to fix, and it sounds like yours needs some work. In additition it needs work just to be drivable. I am trying to be a bit of a devil's advocate, I would rather tell you too low than have you think it's worth $2000 and you can't sell it. Try to check Ebay and see what things are going for on there.

HI JAMIE -- IT"S ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO PUT A PRICE ON ONE OF THESE TRUCKS, WITHOUT ACTUALLY SEEING IT, BUT YOUR TRUCK SOUNDS LIKE A $900 TRUCK TO ME. FROM YOUR DESCRIPTION, IT SOUNDS LIKE THE ONLY USABLE PARTS ON IT ARE THE BED & THE FRAME. I JUST WENT THRU THE SAME THING WITH MY GIRLFRIEND. SHE HAD A CAR THAT SHE BOUGHT NEW IN 93 & SHE THOUGHT IT WAS WORTH A FORTUNE. I SOLD IT FOR $1250. YA GOTTA REMEMBER.... SENTIMENTAL VALUE & DOLLAR VALUE ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. JOHN

Sounds like 900 around here as well, although I am no expert. The only good thing is that it is a SWB, which would help it sell quicker. If it has a 2 speed powerglide, that will help too 'cause everyone looks out for them. Good luck.
