283 rear main seal (new style seal)
Has anyone used the Neoprene rear main seal on the 283 motor? I found a 4 peice rear main seal that takes the place of the rope seal. Anybody have any experience with this seal. I never seen or heard of one until today. I going to try it but I'm a little nervous.

I haven't used it but when you reinstall the pan, I would suggest using the one piece pan gasket by "felpro".
Easy to use and suppose to last a lifetime ![]() |
