Tinted windows

I have tinted windows from a 71 suburban in the glove box it said it came with tinted windows. They have a real dark tint stuck on the inside of the windows. Did they come that way from the factory.

factory tinting can be verry very light.. most if not all new cars with airconditioning have " tinted" windows, but it's so light, you don't notice unless your looking for it. if it's real dark, and stick on, it's likely and after market peel & stick.. The glass underneith could have the light factory tint also. Take a clear peice of glass and hold it up to the side window of a newer car sometime. The car window you thought was clear may look slightly darker next to the clear glass.
