SBC to GMC V-6 in a 4X4
Has anyone ever done this swap? Does anyone have a factory V-6 setup in a 4X4? I'd like to make the swap as close to factory specs as possible. Any information is appreciated. Thanks!

I know this isn't quite what you are looking for, but this guy took the 305 V6 out of his '68 3/4 ton 4x4 and put a 478 in!!! I wonder how much this thing weighs.
EDIT: the 478 weighs 925# DRY!!! Holy S**t! here is his webshots page: http://community.webshots.com/user/379432

According to the page below, a 478 weighs 925 lbs, about 130 lbs more than the 305. It looks like the front springs on that truck are 4-leaf, if that's a factory spring pack it must be pretty stout!
