How about a Trade?

Hey Guys,

I'm seriously considering selling/trading my 59 Apache Fleetside. I need a more practical vehicle and thinking another Blazer would be perfect for me.

I would want a restored Blazer to use as a reliable daily driver. I'm putting this out to see what kind of reaction I get. What do you think? Anybody interested?

The Apache goes like this:

- older restoration. not perfect but close.
- strong 327 with 4 speed muncie - sounds great and runs like a champ
- brakes just redone
- all the rare chrome
- Big back window
- IMHO has a socal value of 15k to 18k

check the pics:

holy shnit that's one sweet truck!! and I see you have the rare fleetside bed trim as well!! DAYUM!! We have a 58 GMC shorty fleetside that will be getting the tear down in the next while. I wish you luck in selling it and I hope ours turns out to look half as nice!

no interest?

Come on guys... Absolutely no interest? No even any questions?
One of you guys out there has got to have an extra restored Blazer at home and you would love to have a blue beauty like my '59 to complete the set.

I am willing to take a small loss on the trade, especially since the '59 has many rare sought after parts... the all around chrome, especially the bed chrome is really rare, the transmission, the engine, etc

ummm, maybe a dumb question, but, why don't you sell the truck and BUY the blazer of your dreams?

It's cool if I don't get a trade, but it would make things easier for sure. And in the end, maybe I'll just wait until after the holidays, tax return time, or maybe just keep all my trucks!

As far as a sale, I would like 16k. Again, that's how much I would like...
