Remmeber that you'll have to CUT off the extentions of your frame that the bumper bolts too...which will cause you to fail your anual inspection.
Even if you have a buddy that'll hook you up with a sticker, front bumpers have been federally mandated since christ was a corpral and any cop anywhere can give you a ticket.

just something to think about.

That's why You see trucks with roll pans on the rear, but not the front. There was a black truck on here a couple days ago that had a smoothed and painted front bumper. It realy blended in.

Are you guys serous about the front roll pans? How the hell is a steel roll pan any differant than a steel bumper? When i wrecked my TA there was NOTHING left of that polyurithain frontend except some styrafoam scattered about and your telling me that i cant have use a STEEL roll pan?

Its easy to blend in a painted bumper when your truck is black because its all just a black blur anyway but for ligher color paints your pretty much screwed.

Man that sucks, i had planned to do a custom front roll pan with a billet insert but i dont want any more trouble with the police that i can avoid. Of course im still going to put a full phantom grill on my truck so i guess it doesnt really matter what i have for a bumper since i'll be in violation anyway.

The sticker isnt a problem but annoying cops with nothing better to do will be.

hmm, anyone with a roll pan ever had any troubles with being stopped for having it?

I don't care about the cops... I just don't want to cut of the frame extensions

My blazer has a roll pan in the front but behind it is a bumper. The frame horns and bumper brackets were shorten and a small steel I beam was welded in place. So if I am stopped I just raise the hood and show that I have a bumper.
