I bought one and hated it, ended up selling it on ebay. The mirror is weird because its wasnt like a real mirrors reflection, not really a mirror if you will, plus as you can see in the pictures it doesnt have the day/night flip lever on the bottom....that drove me nuts.

Kool. That looks pretty sweet. I hoped to get one for mine. Whenver it finally runs again As far as the day/night flip lever, personally, I never even use mine. I think it is going to look real nice in your truck.

I thought you were going to say you were getting rid of those dumbo side mirrors. And I was going to be sad. I'm glad to see thats not the case.

I replaced my rusted crusted original 10" mirror with a universal Wally World 8", and that was back in April, and I still don't know if its better. Granted, the old one was so nasty it was hard to see out of, but the shrinkage of 2 inches makes a noticeable difference for me. Plus the replacement isn't chrome like the original, its goofy black
P.S. I thought he ment the dumbo mirrors, too. I'm also glad to see i was wrong. I love my little ones, nice and slick.

The little ones are just the standard mirrors. The big 'dumbo ear' ones were called 'below-eyeline' My Gentleman Jim and Indy Hauler have the little ones. They look better but are near worthless as mirrors...

I think I got a set of those little mirrors that I took off my GMC for Dumbo mirrors, I used the truck to tow and the little mirrors were worthless to me.

But, for a street truck I like the way it looks without the big mirrors.

I have the little mirrors and they suck. Dont forget you have to have a drivers side mirror and one other..either rear view or pass. side.

What about finding a set of factory power mirrors? You don't need teh power part, but the mirrors would probably look ok.

lol. Yeah functionality wise the Dubmo Deluxes are better, but i see just fine outta the itty bitty ones. That's one of the big things thats cool about a pickup; blindspots are almost nonexistant.

If you want nice mirrors of a good size check out 1995-97 (sorry) F150 in chrome. They have a nice size head, screw on from the outside and the black frame can be painted body colour. That is what I am looking to put on my Blazer. I have small custom ones and I now think bigger is better for safety.
