I'm not baggedC10 but I bet I can give you the answer. Chassis Tech=AIM and AIM=CRAP. I know someone is going to jump in here and defend AIM so let me explain before they do.

Not "all" AIM or Chassis Tech product is crap. Some of it is just as good as the other companies. Some of it is junk. What is Total Crap is the way they do business. To start with their prices may be low, but they usually make up for it in padded shipping costs.

They screw orders up constantly, and when they do you get screwed on shipping twice regardless of who's fault it is. If you try to return something they will charge you for restocking fees regardless of who's fault it is. If you need service after the sale forget it. They don't do service, they do sales.

I could beat on those @sshats all day long, but I'll let it go at that....

Aside from what N2TRUX said, they're record speaks for itself after talking w/ several AIM/Chassis Tech/Truckin' Suspension customers. I wouldn't purchase anything from them, including components you would think are impossible to screw-up. Here are a couple threads for your reading pleasure.

My 2 cents!

While i was thumbing thru one of my popular truck mags i stopped on the AIM ads. I read more about how bad the other guys were. IMO this is not the way to great public relations! Stuff like that makes me leary as a consumer! I think to the average gear head this would confuse them on what product to actually buy! As far as there quality of products go, i can not say cause i dont think i am going to give them a chance! You never get a second chance to make a first impression! And the retail buisiness is not the place to chase away customers! I feel better now thanks for letting me get that off my chest!

Just say no to AIM unless you're not real concerned about fit and quality.

back in 2000, i purchased a pair of lift spindles for my 98. about 6 months after installing them the spinle broke where the rotor mounts. i called and complained and they would gladly exchange the spindles but i had to pay for shipping, about $90. their prices are amazing but you definitely get what you pay for: crap!! i did not exchange their product for fear of the same thing happening. needless to say i will never again purchase from them again.

The only good thing I bought from them when I didn't know any better was a SuperC notch they bought from a small shop and sold under thier name. It's been on my wifes 98 for nearly 6 years now.
