Found factory shoulder belts...

These are in the "rouch couch" I just bought. Black factory shoulder belts, but not on the glovebox list and the other belts are white.
Nasty truck (notice the green carpet glued to the inside) but has excellent BB/AC, TH400, tilt & tach & throttle.
Thanks to Bouncytruck for posting the truck for sale---I think.

Not for sale---yet

You are fast! I have only had one other set in all of the hundreds of trucks I have parted/owned.
I would like to keep a set just for the guys/customers to actually see. Rare is fun!
Sometimes money changes plans, though. Don't give offers on here. I don't want to start an auction---just showing everyone some really rare parts, that I thought would be interesting.

Understand about the rare parts. Swapped a Holley 650 Double Pump and a Wiend intake for a pair of Carter AFB 4BBLs and a "ol GM Dual 4 intake" Made a straight up swap and found out the "ol GM dual four intake" was stock '57 vintage aluminum dual four intake. Currently settting on my '57 210 sedan with sb 283 and Muncie 4 speed. If you decide you would like greenbacks in place of the black seat belts keep me in mind. Very Interested (Still )

Should be Option A85 Shoulder Belt, listed on the glove box.
Wonder if someone added it on later in its life.

Frank, glad someone was able to get this truck. I don't know much about the trucks, but I figured the big block might be desireable.

If everything is for sale on parts board...I guess I should have put it on the message board. Maybe we can move it over. I just thought they would be of interest because they are truly so rare...and came from a referral posted by another board member.
CustomC5: Thank you for pointing that out, if that is in fact true.

I think every cab had the holes drilled at the factory and little plastic plugs put in them if the belts werent ordered.

How did they work? Were they integrated into the lap belt? Will a newer set out of a 73 and up work? Thanks Mike

Uhhhh, they look like 72 and down to me...and they are dated 72 in a 72

You might be able to make me sell them...((IF))...you can also make everyone buy and pay for all of the parts that they say they are going to/will buy from me.

poink, think of strapping a lap belt across your chest. That is how these work. No racheting, seperate buckle from the lap belt, and a real PITA. And by most states law, required to be worn if installed. Ask GMC Junkie.
Are these all that rare? I've seen quite a few, and walked away from them in the junk yard. I can't really see why anyone would want them. No one wants to wear them since they are such a PITA, and then it is just a ticket waiting to happen letting them flap in the wind ant chip up the paint...

I saw a truck in a wrecking yard the other day that had the right side one in it (the left was gone). I know they are rare, but this rare...

Rare?

LHman you must go to a much better class of wrecking yard than I do, if you have walked away from quite a few. I have only had a few hundred of these trucks and looked at a few hundred more...and I have only seen one other set---ever! Maybe they are not that rare.
You see the interest in these...I will bet you never walk away from another set.

Anyone that has any or see any. Buy them and sell them to me. It's an option I haven't gathered yet.

Another Question is that a 88 up chevy bench seat? If it is how well does it fit? Any extra holes had to be drilled? Thanks in advance
