This is my 69. 9500 original miles ain't she purtty. 100% rust free (well almost).
Seems sitting for 30 years has rusted up the sending unit and the inside of the gas tank.Had to rob the tank and sending unit from my 70 just to drive her around today. Will be putting her up because the snow is gonna fly soon. |

Great looking truck.Looks like one of those garage kept bought'er new trucks. If the tank is all the rust that's in it,that's easy to fix

I found that one this past spring, it came outa missouri, it was a 90+ year old mans truck.it was purchased from the deceasts estate.the last paper work I could find was the odometer verification from the M.S. department of revenue dated 1996 at wich time there was 9212 miles on the truck.it also came with the original title the truck was purchased on 10/30/1968. I guess the old fella musta only used it for church or something because the interior looks as if its never been sat in and the box was never used for work .when the wife can make time for me,I'll have her post more pictures of the truck and insides.near as I can tell today is the first time tools have ever touched this one, since it left the factory.

That is an awsome lookin rig.
What did you have to shell out for that sucker (Or a ball park figure if uncomefortable) I'd crack the carb open too, I'll bet a punch in the gut that it is filled with rust. Last edited by Longhorn Man; 11-28-2004 at 10:46 PM. |
