Wanted: 69, 70, 71 Or 72 C-10 Lwb
I’m presently in the market for another truck. What I’m looking for is pretty much an “unmolested” 69, 70, 71 or 72 Chevy C-10 or C-20 with the following:
• Must be good enough for a “daily driver” • LWB fleet-side or step-side • Power steering. A/C a plus. • Bench seat. • Clean, straight and solid...some surface rust ok, but no structural rust. • six preferred or small-block V-8 ok. • Prefer an auto-trans, but would take a stick depending on the truck The truck ideally will be in good condition, but not “too pretty”, because it will be used daily. Overall, I have about 4000.00 budgeted for the truck, including shipping. Thanks.....

If I had 13k maybe , but unfortunately I have to make it happen with only 4,000. I've seen many online that are in pretty good shape, but all out of state.

Here is my 72 daily driver.
Here is a San Diego 72 camper special I may consider letting go for 2700 and I can send anywhere down the Interstate 95 for 600 dollars shipped. If you want more info just let me know. All new tires, new inspection Maine sticker,
Brand new dual exhaust, this truck has towed home 4 other trucks with no problems and can be driven across the country. Thanks for looking, Mike

Check out my thread I just posted 1972 GMC for sale. A little more than you want to spend but thought I would point it out anyway.

Thanks for responding, but I gotta stay within budget....or as close as I can. I've seen a lot of "rough gems" for under 3k, so that's still our goal. Thanks again....

There is one for sale on LI. I drove by it on Sat. and I thinks he wants a few hundred for it. It is a parking lot plower in front of a Diner. A bit of rot on the bed. It's a brown GMC C-20, I believeit's a 70.

I am the second owner of a 70 lwb, 250/3 spd, nearly all original. I have replaced the inner fender pass side & batt tray due to rust. Original owner died & it never moved again until I bought it. I have Protecto plate & oe owners manual & folder. Has one oe T3 headlight! Never painted, never wrecked but used as a truck, very straight, has a few small dents here & there, lots of scratches, has 105k miles. Has power brakes/gauges/white top. Never had a radio or cig lighter or any cut wiring. Has small rust (quarter-size)hole in pass rocker. I have an auto Xmember & power steering box gathered up also. Planned on eBay after 1st of the year. Wife is on me to get rid of one, 5 is too many she says. I have stalled her til after Christmas. Brian
