Tach/vacc dash... Value?????
I have an original pickup tach dash that the P.O. installed a vaccumm guage in but he never got the correct lense(still has the original tach lense w/o the vaccumm). Dash was working when removed from truck but has sat for years so working condition can't be guarranteed. Guages have been cleaned and needles repainted, housing has been repainted. Needs new bezel as the original has peeling chrome, lense is nice and has been polished.
What would something like this go for on the forum? On "flea-bay"? Would I be better of putting it back to the original tach only pickup dash and selling the vac. guage seperately? I will be selling this soon so I need to know what to ask... I will have pics later as it is currently in storage... Thanks in advance... Joe

Dug it out to show some pics. The bezel shown is actually a junk painted one I had laying around. It's mainly there to hold everything together. As you can see the needles have been redone along with the red bar in the temp guage. Guage faces have no rust. Lense was polished. The gray on the back of the cluster was repainted. The tach housing had minimal surface oxidation(not enought to call rust) which was removed and painted to match. Circuit board has been cleaned and inspected. No breaks or cracks found. New brass nuts were installed inplace of the original nuts and all electrical contacts were also cleaned. Hope this helps out.... Let me know what you think I can get out of it...
Joe

I would say on flea bay about $350. How much were you thinking?

there was one on ebay that looked worse than yours that was going for over 400 on Ebay the other day.
I think it would be worth at least that much.
