Gas Tank filler behind side marker?
I was curious if anyone here has done this, and how to go about it? I think it would be easier than behind taillight.

I don't see why it wouldn't work just like it did on pickups.
Have you seen this thread? http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php3?t=77104 I did it on my short/fleet this summer, not too tough.

Re: Gas Tank filler behind side marker?
Do it! I did it to my truck. I've gotten several oohs and ahhs. its a nice custom touch if you have the time to rig it up. I really just 'winged it.' cut here, there, weld this to that, add a screw, welded different filler tubes together. I had a body lift, so that really helped with running the filler above the frame rail. I'm not too sure how you would want to go about that with your blazer. At least you're not in CA and don't have to worry about those bulky rubber boots on almost all the pumps!

Re: Gas Tank filler behind side marker?
Are there any other ideas on where to put the filler neck on a Truck/Blazer other than stock.

Here's a build thread from a member. He has a Stepside. I am going to do the same thing in my 69 step side

Re: Gas Tank filler behind side marker?
Here's another great one. Wouldn't work very well if you had a Blazer running a hard top though

Wes at classicheartbeat.com has a write-up on how to do the side marker setup on his website.

Re: Gas Tank filler behind side marker?
Here's what I did with mine.(tail light) I think if I were to go with the side marker filler, I'd use the hagan filler and cap. Kinda like another member did below, but I would try to attach the marker light to the hinged piece. With this cap there is no need to reach into the small light opening to remove the cap. Simply swing the side marker door open and insert the fuel nozzle into the center flap.
