Pre Runner
Hey have any of you seen on of our trucks as a pre runner???? I am planning on building a 67 and would like to see what other people have done or seen.

Used to be one around where I live way back before pre runners were the rage. It sat on 33's and had all custom bumpers front and rear. Had a in cab cage with beard seats. It was cool as heck just looked like a lifted 4x4 though. Would love to see one with glass fenders front and rear. Not sure if they are available though.

I have a 1973 Petersen Publication about trucks and the customizing that was common at the time. Towards the back of the book, there's an article about Mickey Thompsons' '72 Baja racer Chevy truck, with a feature about his "new" 73 that was being prepared.

thanks all. this will be a fun prodject I just need to find the right truck to do it too. Tim you don't have a choise you will be donating your garadge for this one. your 68 will just have to learn what it is to be out of the garage. Has it even seen the light of day after I left? 72 I do live on base along with 67chev and the more help the better. I love to piss off my neighbors
