Please Help With Soft Top Color Decision

Hey Members, your posts have convinced me to get a STC Fastrac soft top for my K5, which is medium red with saddle interior. I originally considered black but decided against it after reading how hot they can get. I am now considering spice denim as the swatch appears to be almost tan. Has anyone seen a spice top? If so, is it tan? What are your thoughts, recommendations or advice. I would appreciate your input, as I do not want to make a mistake.

Thanks in advance.

...Dan

I got Dark Tan because spice was to mustered yellow color. Almost accidently ordered Spice instead! That was Kayline before they shut down and ST took over.

Actually they sent me a swatch book so I could see the fabric choices see if they will send you one, don't go by what they look like on screen or print.

Ask them for swatches. I did the same because I wasn't sure which color I wanted. The spice is a burnt orange color. I like the denim fabrics, but I went with the white top for my '72 because it is almost the exact same color as my interior. The white only comes in the pebble texture.

I ordered my top through Steve who runs ColoradoK5.com. He was very helpful in my decision process and more than willing to answer any questions I had. His prices are basically the same as ordering direct (might be a few dollars cheaper) but he isn't the cheapest out there.

Tint Or Not

Hey Guys, I actually have the STC swatches. The tan was not included in the set and STC site does not list tan. It appears they no longer offer the tan and Mustard does not sound good. I may have to reconsider the black. Actually the Blazer shown on their site may be the same color as my K5. What do you think about the black top and dark tint windows?

Thanks again.

Match your interior as close as you can. I think it will look great. Red and Tan are a great combo.
