frame mount ?
are these the correct 1972 bbc frame mounts?

I don't think so. Those look like 73 & up frame mounts. Look on the parts board as PICKUMUP has a picture of 72's. The top mounting holes are closer together on the 72 and the edges have a little lip on them. Sorry.

Hard to tell from pic. but I agree with Bob, they look like the later mounts- the holes are too far apart

They're 73-87. Notice the two ribs on the frame bracket. The 72 BBC brackets have 1 rib on them.

Here is a pic I stole off of the parts board.
Notice the 1 rib and closer bolt spacing.
