I've often thought of that wheel for my truck, but the foam scares me. I have a grant foam wheel in my dodge charger, and it is tough foam, but I don't use it for work like I do the truck. I was thinking about going with a 967 myself. It's the same thing with a wooden styling ring, for that vintage look. I really like it. That will likely be what I end up doing.

I dunno about the durability of the foam either. I like the look of wheel but read hooking up the horn is a real pain.

That's one thing I will say that I don't like about Grant. I have a Challenger foam wheel in my dodge charger. Getting the horn to work was the hardest part, and in that car, the horn is a must have, cuz it's got a Dixie Horn in it. I've installed one similar to this before too, and I will say the horn was a little easier than the challenger model, but it was still kind of a pain.

I found that if you solder a ground wire to the center terminal(use a ring terminal to hook the ground to the adapter hub) and hook up the other terminal as normal, the hornbutton seems to work fine. That's how I hooked up the button on my Grant Signature wheel. Worked in all 3 vehicles I've had it in....

Thanks HeavyD....... thats the wheel I found in storage, the rubber was chipped so I rolled it down the steep hill behind the house, it got big air over a couple humps and then hit a tree, I got a kick out of it, I know, Im twisted, but that thing was ugly as hell anyway..
