rear axle codes... I have answers...
In digging thru all my old totes of crap. I found my GM parts catalog copies of "light duty truck rear axle identification" numbers...
It covers 1955 - 1972 light duty trucks... I will need to know year of axle assy (on housing) series truck it's out of, i.e. C-10, K-20, C-30, etc... This was copied out of a OE GM parts catalog back in 1989, the catalog was a original 1972 GM parts catalog. I tried to buy it from the guy, but he wouldn't let me buy it from him. It had all the OEM original part #'s for every piece on our trucks, I offered the guy $100.00 back then, today I would offer him more, but he hasn't a clue where it is... bummer huh?... It would be best to E-mail me at ynelson@rushmore.com As I do not visit this forum as much as I used to. Way to busy nowdays... Let me know if I can help...
