GMC grille question
Will hte inner part of a 68 grille fit on my 71 if I use the 71 eyebrow trim?

The grilles themselves are physically inerchangeable between all years 67-72 GMC's. The differences are in the top bar, eyebrow trim, and hood latch/support.
To use any grille with a 67/68 hood you'll need a 67/68 top bar and hood latch/support. For 68, you'll also want the hood edge trim and eyebrows. These items are identical to 68 chevy trim pieces. 67 had no eyebrows or hood trim. To use any grille with a 69-72 hood you'll need a 69-72 top bar and hood latch/support. You'll also want the 69-72 eyebrows. Fenders and core supports are essentially the same for all years GMC (obvious exception is 67 fenders). The 67/68 core supports do have the provisions for the lower valance piece, whereas 69-72 do not.
