It's like Xmas without the annoying family members!

So, K5 is going through a pretty big change as we speak... I think when she comes out of the garage, it will be a new beast. Here is everything that I have waiting to go on-

- 6" Tuff Country Springs
- Raised steering arm
- 2" Rear Blocks (already have SL 4" springs)
- Tie rod ends, drag link ends
- Front brake disks/pads
- New complete Pertronix HEI distributor
- Accel 8.8mm wires & new plugs
- Carter AFB rebuild kit
- Hedman Headers
- Custom Exhaust (to be built...)
- Rollcage padding
- Rhino lining interior

Should be a few weeks, and my to do list on this truck is getting smaller... Aside from rewiring the engine compartment, that is it for short term work.

let me know how you like the 2" blocks w/ 4" springs. I plan on doing this for 6" of lift, kinda looking at the taper of the block v. the shim on the spring pack.

1986 K5, 350/465/208 Dana 60/14 bolt from a cucv 36" Super Swampers TSL/SX
1983 K20 w/ CUCV axles, 350/700R4/208 sitting on 37" Goodyears
1986 M1031 6.2 diesel, TH400/NP205 locker in the rear and a LS in the front, all stock for now.....
1986 K30, 350/400/205 dana 60 and 14 bolt. I kept the drivetrain. Body/bad and chassis are gone.
1981 K30, 350/465/205 dana 60 and dually 14 bolt. Has a G80, and a flat bed. Going to replace the flat bed.

1985 K20, 350/400/208 10 bolt and SF 14 bolt. I wonder where I can find some 1 tons. Hmmmmm

I have shims on my current rear spring packs... I can tell you first hand it doesn't work very well the way I have it. The centerpin does not have a large enough of a head to go through the shim and seat in the spring perch properly. I sheered 2 center pins with this setup.

Of course, the shim was under the spring pack, and not integrated INTO the spring pack like new springs would be.

I will let you know, but I am sure it will work great.
