Cig. Lighter Question

I installed an aftermarket, 2 wire lighter and I have a question on the wiring. I was curious where to run the blue wire for the light so it will not stay on and drain the battery. I found this out the hard way !! OK, flame away !, I deserve this one.
Thanks,
Bret

The terminal between cluster feed, and panel lights. This will control the light with the dash lights...off on and brightness.
