Cool New guy with question?

hello gang, since iam a newbee, thought i'd let y'all know i have a good old 72 GMC,that i have owned for 18 years. recently , i started on new paint for "Big Blue".
my question is this, How do you remove primer paint or enamel from the rubber windshield gasket?
any help would be appreciated.

I'd buy a new rubber seal. Unless your's has already been replaced.

Ok laquer thinner then. maybe wd-40

Laquer thinner or mineral spirits, you might have to use some steel wool, and if you are real careful, a razor blade after you soften it up with the thinner.
