Pics of 68-72 trucks with 17" + wheels please! 18s?

I just can't seem to decide on what wheels I want to use on my truck. I really want to stay with 18's so I can run the nitto drags 305/45/18's... But would like to see pictures of any 68-72 trucks with 17 inch or larger wheels. Especially our trucks with 18's!

Thanks!

I'll post some of the ones I have on my hard drive first...

Actually the orange one at the bottom of the first post has 19's on the front and 20's on the back.

here's a few that I found, these all have 17's.

17" slots!

I was cruising the American Racing web site and in their vintage line they have reintroduced the Ansen slot. They have them fully polished in 17"s . I haven't seen them installed on anything yet but I think they would look sweet.

Same goes for the Torq-Thrust II's. Here's a photoshop drop of my new '63 Lincoln Continental with a set of them.

I assume you're talking about the bright green one? I have the article on it somewhere around here... it has 17x8's on front and 17x11's on back.

Now that I look at that 3rd truck in my first post, the greenish-grayish one, it may have 18's, they do look a little big for 17's. Maybe, maybe not?

I like the looks of those last two with 18's! I've seen the primered one before it's a board members truck right? Got any more

This is what I'm thinking about doing with my truck just with 18's instead of hoops that big. And I really like the two tone effect I photochoped...

I like the two tone color scheme you got there ALOT! That looks slick. I think your way off though on those rims on that chop. They look more like 22s than 18s. I dont think that is a large enough rim for a fleetside but i think you can get away with 18's on a step. I wouldnt go much smaller though or its gonna leave you either too tall a tire for good handleing or too much gap between the tire and the fenders. Those are just opinions though. If you bag it you can get the stance right with almost any size rim but if your still planning to take it to the track ...... coilovers are a better option but then tire size becomes a concern again.

The primered one IS for slammed67. It seems all I can find anymore are trucks with 20's on them.

Mine's in my sig, those rims are temporary so I'm looking too. I've got to ask, do you know what size tires on the silver and red truck?

The silver one has 17x8's with 255/50ZR17's on the front and 17x9.5 with 285/60ZR17's out back.

I can't seem to find the specs on the red one.
