For those of you with power locks and an alarm

Im wanting to put all this onto my truck. Trying to see what all options I have. All that I have really seen was what was in my JC Whitney catalog, which I know a lot of people have less than great feelings for. Anyway, I can buy a pwr lock/keyless entry from them for pretty cheap, but I would like to have the keyless entry remote with the alarm remote. They sell an alarm/keyless entry thing but I dont think it comes with the hardware to convert manual to power locks. What have you all used and what would you suggest?

I put the keyless entry kit that LMC sells in their catalog on my old yellow 69. It was okay, but I wouldn't do it again if I had a choice. Now the alarm interests me, but I'll stick with the conventional door locks.

I have a "Code Alarm" Alarm system. Mine does many things along with operating electric locks. You have to buy them seperate and hook them up into the system.
It turns on the interior lights, Flashes the parking lights, Beeps the horn. It has a "Valet" switch, and you can have it set the alarm only when you push the button, or it will do it after a while when leaving the vehicle.( passive) It's also a 2 stage system, if someone taps the vehicle it will beep, when hit three times soft the alarm will go off. also has a glass breakage sensor.

You can set it up to remotely operate a trunk, or hood, ( which of course we don't need)

It is not for the faint of heart to wire in, It took me a few hours..

They also Have a telephone support if you have any problems.

Thanks for the help so far guys, keep it coming.
I also can rip the pwr locks, and windows, out of an 88 chevy truck we have, if that makes any difference.

So I could use the actuators out of the 88 truck then buy the keyless entry and alarm separately and have all I need right?

if you get them from a junk truck make sure you get the plugs the rod to the lock and the mount. I got them out of an 85 blazer with the mounts and all I had to do was drill 2 hole on the latch side of the door kind of in the same place as the pick and they mounted right up.
