here's a question for someone
i bought a 72 chevy with a 4 spd with a 307 i'm just wonderin is it a big job to put the cab and box on my 85 frame if not what r they major things u have to do to get it to fit thanks in advance.

Is the truck a long bed or short bed? The long bed 67-72 have a 127" wheel base, the 73-87 long beds have a 133" wheelbase. I'm not sure on the short beds. Also the cab mounts will have to be changed and alot of guys say you'll have to install a body lift to help on clearance issues...

what's wrong with the original frame? mine seems to be holding up fine!

well there's nottin wrong with the frame just that it's a four wheel drive and wated to make a 2 wheel drive long box 72 with a 85 chassis

It's a shame you're not closer, I have a 2 wheel drive that I would love to make a 4x4...
