JMHO, BUT I HAD A 67 SWB W/ A FACTORY 327, BUT SOMEWHERE
ALONG THE LINES THE MOTOR WAS SWAPPED OUT TO A 283 AND I WAS DUPED INTO BUYING IT, DIDN'T KNOW ALOT ABOUT THESE TRUCKS THEN, THAT LOOKS LIKE A 283 SINCE THE OIL FILLER IS RIGHT UP FRONT, I KNOW SOME 327'S HAD THIS ALSO, BUT I'M LEANING TOWARDS IT BEING A 283, I THINK HE SHOULD HAVE SOLD IT TO THE LAST BIDDER, BUT WHO AM I TO JUDGE HIM

In just looking at the truck I thought no more than 3K would be what I would give for it. It would be sweet if someone had some cash to put in it!!!

With A/C, PS, and PB--I think you wouldn't go wrong at $3500. you'd spend a He!! of a lot of $ and sweat adding those to another truck. Either a 283 or 327 would be no big deal to me, but I'm not hung up on originality. SBC engines are cheap--drop a 350 in it later. And '67/'68's are the best looking of these trucks!

I wonder whats hidding under that plywood bed? If the rockers/kicker/cab supports are soild I'd go maybe 2,300 tops, 2,500 if it really a 327.
