Tire brand comparison, opinions please!
As the time gets closer for me to actually go out and buy $ 800.00 bucks worth of rubber, I am getting more and more excited as well as second guessing myself. Yesterday I removed the RV mirror brackets, the front bumper and the tires, from my truck. On monday I will take them up to Edmond to be powder coated (white). Then I finaly be able to put the rubber on the tires.
I had been planning on putting 31x10.50x15's BFG MT's on my truck because I thought that was the largest diameter size I could. However the more I think about it and measure it seems I might be able to fit 33x10.50x15's. I have been debating on calling around to see if I can find a tire store that would mount a 33 (have me pay for it) take it home and just bolt it on to see if it really would fit and then take it back for a refund? I am not sure if anyone would even consider that? Anyway in anticipation of my wheels I thought I would throw a couple of links to tirerack of 2 other brands I would consider and see if anyone has some first hand experience with the brands in question.
