WTB -1/2 or 3/4 Ton LWB 4x4
Looking for a 1/2 or 3/4 ton long wheel base 4x4 truck.
Prefer 3/4 ton but either is fine. Something within a weekend trip of New England. Have trailer will pick up. Wanting a daily driver quality truck, don't need perfect but don't want a rust bucket either. Looking for something on the better end of the scale that's still around 5K, no higher. Auto or 4spd. Please respond to this thread, no pm's or e-mails. Pics are required, purchase will not be considered without the proper pics/info. |

There are a couple trucks here in the Denver area, a bit more than a weekend trip but I think one of the trucks would be a great daily driver. 1st one is a 72 GMC 1/2 ton w/ factory air. Has been repainted and kept up but would need a heater core and probably exhaust manifolds or the headers tightened up. Truck # 2 is a 71 3/4 4x4 4spd plain jane that the owner started to repaint but gave up. Would need cosmetics but it runs and drives good. Send a PM and I'll leave a contact number. I'll have to resize photos before I can post them. Thanks, Rob

This one is in my yard right now. My wife's friend bought it for her son. When they drove it over the engine sounded very nice. They are asking $2000 for it.
It looks like a th400/NP205 combo. Supposedly reverse is out in the tranny. More and better pictures can be seen at older post on this board.

Mine will be for sale soon. 72K10. Crate 350 with less than 100 miles on it. 4 spd. No air. White over medium olive green, two tone, with side trim. Amost all rust repaired. Almost everything from rubber to roof has been replaced at one time or another over the last 4 years. I think it's just about right. But I'm moving to Kansas this summer and need to sell pretty soon. I'm looking at selling for 7, but might end up coming down as far as 5 if no takers. Let me know if you're interested.

General pics
These pics were taken 5 years ago. Not of great value, but will give you a general sense of the color scheme. I'll be taking more / better photos as I get ready to sell in the next week or so. I'm in the southeast corner of NY, maybe 50 miles from the CT state line.
The pickup is what I'd say "good daily driver" condition. The paint's 5 years old and chipped / scratched in places, but looks good overall. Mechanical condition is good /' very good, considering that I've replaced most of the steering / suspension, engine, etc. Couple of minor things that need to be fixed: horn and back up lights. Never could get the horn to work, and I didn't install the back-up switch when I swapped in a 4 spd for the 3 spd that was there. http://photos.yahoo.com/k10_72
