finally

i wasnt asking alot i just wanted to here it turn over. finally it is starting. the guy that fixed it said he could prime the carb and it would run until the gas ran out. besides being out of gas what could be other things that would cause this. i recently took off my rear bumper and noticed that the gas tank was smashed up on one side. i was lucky and found another one for $20. i will change out the tanks(72 will fit 69 right?) and blow air through the gas line to make sure it isnt clogged up. any others ideas would be very appreciated.

Could be a bad fuel pump or a plugged up fuel filter.
