My 1st '72 - yeehaw!
Well its not the one I told ya'll I was going to get, but it is alot nicer than the one I went to L.A. for (its not the color I would have chose, but it kinda grows on you). Here are the stats..... 454 engine, turbo 400 trans, 4" lift, 35" tires, 15" Alcoa rims, A/C (it actually blows cold), Interior is cheesy.... velour...(70's...yuck), but overall the interior is OK. got some minor work to do....see post about door locks. Needs new weatherstripping, body mounts, Oil Leaks fixed, and needs exhaust extended out to rear of cab. why the hell do people dump the exhaust underneith the cab? Gas vent line leaks because PO used vacumn rubber instead of fuel line. Well take a look and let me know if $11K was an OK deal....

That's nice! I think they call it a bronz color, but I like to call it root beer (one of my favorite colors on these trucks). I know I would spend more than that to get my Blazer 1/2 as nice as that one is. Good find!

WOW!!!
Love it, and the price looks good! You can't build that for $11k, that's for sure. Cold AC? Billet Wheel? Rat Motor? Love the color combo. Someone must have been heartbroken to let that go. Lets' here some more here... front/rear gears, how's it drive? how's it brake? Single/Double wall top? Looks like an awesome roll bar in the back. AWESOME!!!

It looks kinda like a Blazer, except it is missing the rust that I'm pretty sure came standard on Blazers!
That's a great looking Blazer, and I like the color... Rg

Thanks guys! The top is double wall, CD player, subwoofer, amp, 4 3-ways all Alpine. I am not sure what the gears are....duh...forgot to ask... Do you think it would look better with a white top???
Cory (blackcloud75) thanks again for being a straight up guy! I feel bad that our deal didn't go through, but I do appreciate the fact that you gave my money back and was very cool about it.

White Top
Take a look at the Photoshop thread.... One of the magicians on there gave it a white top. What do you guys think..... I hadn't thought of Black... I think that was the original color of the top though!

White top looks sharp! It would really give it a more classic look with a white top and if all of the window tint was gone...
Ya, maybe have em photochop on a black top for the heck of it!

Real nice K/5.Great find!Could the difference in the a/c compressor location be 454 vs 350?Or,the fact that the 454 isn`t factory?Anyhow, what about matching the top to body color(after smoothing) to go with the custom look??
