my newest project

This is my newsest project that I picked this a couple of weeks ago and just got around to cleaning it up and taking a few pictures. 350/350 combo with I guess a 4 or 6 inch lift and 38.5 ground hawgs on it.Probably going to sell the tires and wheels just not my style although they are in good shape they would make good spares since I am going to go back with 38's. Got it for a song. $800 big ones. Thats the goog thing about living where there is lots of farming and mining. lots of trucks and most everyone has a mine job so we all have new trucks, so these older ones go for next to nothing

Thanks I wish I still had my burb though. Finally get something halfway done and I go and wreck it. Oh well that's why I have a job I guess. It's hard to look at it in the garage knowing that I have already ordered parts, there not here and I have days off and can't work on it.Starting a new job on monday and I'm off for the next 4 days I can only rake the yard so many times.

Super Swamper SSR's on 16.5x12 MT Classic II's with a superlift 8" lift. Had the same lift on my 85 suburban and really liked the ride

Blazer

No actually this is my third one. The last one I sold to junkyardjohn the same one that he has listed for sale right now, because I had my white suburban cause it was big enough for the whole family and at the time I needed the cash. Built the sub wrecked it and sold it. Really regreted selling the other one and found this one. I am going to try and get my axles back from john and I have a 454/TH400 combo that will go in it with an 8" Superlift and the more I look at them I really like the 40" MTR's have'nt really decided though they are kinda pricey. I want to get the body work done and switch to the 68 frontend and a steel cowl hood before I really worry to much about the lift and tires. Thanks Jeremy

Had it out with the wife and told her it stays. Started on it today. Got the front clip removed (motor/trans and t case tomorrow). Took a 401K loan today and when it shows up I am going to make a road trip to ECC and pick up all the ptach panels that I need and a complete 68 front end with cowl hood, and probably order the lift tires and wheels. Heres how it looks as of tonight.

It's amazing how fast you work pissed off cause you don't want to go back into the house. Hopefully today the motor/trans/t-case will be on the ground. Then I can haul it over to my buddies that has a hot water and steam pressure washer and get the frameasnd underside cleaner real good. Getit home and jerk the top off. That should be a full days work. Will update with pics later this evening
