Question about how to install a Manual choke system.
How is it done exactly, I'm going to change from automatic choke to a regular manual so any help is very, very appriciated.

Carb choke or exhaust choke? I don't know if they make a manual exhaust choke, but I know on my truck I have a manual carb choke and an automatic exhaust choke.

1 yr or so ago, I picked up a "HELP" kit (local parts chain store) that was for converting to a manual choke. It had the cable, and bracket for the knob in the cab, and a clamp that goes on the choke butterfly shaft. It works well, and i haven't had any problems with it...

Very easy install. just make sure that the cable bracket is firmly attached near the carb. so that when you manually adjust the choke the bracket doesnt sway or move when you pull or push the cable button.1969 K10 has the rest of it described. Its really not that hard.

Give the cable a dose of Break-Free CLP so it won't tend to rust or bind.
