Need A Picture of Stock Tach Harness Firewall Hole Needed

Does anybody have a picture they could post that shows where the tachometer wiring harness passes through the firewall on a truck originally outfitted with a tach? Thanks.

Here is a picture of a 72 with factory tach. The wire hole is beween the fuse panel and the e-brake cable openings.

I am not sure if all years were the same. I have a 70 to look at and if it is different I will post a pic of it.

Awesome. That's exactly what I was looking for. My truck's a '72, so that's perfect. I don't suppose you know what the diameter is of that hole? Thanks!

The hole is 3/4" in diameter. If you notice there are (3) dimples in the firewall plus the hole. You should have a dimple in the location where the hole is in the pic.

Skokie,

The 70 is different and I am not sure which location the tach wire hole was in
since the bottom two dimple locations on the 70 has holes, (one was tach, the other was the kickdown wire. To be safe, someone with a 68 should let you know where the tach wire location is.
