5 point harness with factory buckets?

Does anyone think a 5 point racing harness would work properly without cutting holes in the factory buckets? The gastank is gone, so i can use that for some type of mounting system.

The harness needs to be mounted at shoulder height, unless you use the proper seat. In a roll over shoulders belts can break your back if they are mounted to the floor. I have been thinking about getting seats so that I can use the shoulder belts. I would also like a cage inside the cab.

I heard that too about the shoulder straps. By using upper mounts for the gas tank, could you secure the shoulder straps to that and be fine?

I wouldn't ever tell ya it'd be alright just in case you go out and break your back. I don't need any lawsuits this week.... I'm thinkin as long as ya have the right kind of seats for shoulder belts and you dont snug em down real tight you'd be alright. I may be wrong. I'll prbably just wait till I do a cage in mine and then mount them to a cross bar.
