Post 71-72 mirrors

Anyone have a drawing for the mirror hole locations on the doors that they could post.Thanks in advance!MIKE

No drawing, but if you buy a set, use the gasket as a template. I would place it where it covers the old mirror holes if you have them. If you want a measurement from front of the door to the base of the mirror and from top of door skin to top of mirror let me know.

The passenger side also mounts farther back on the door.

MIKEC,any numbers would help,probably left and right side according to 71CHEVY.I would hate to have to buy a 71/72 assembly manual just to get these numbers!!!I thank you for any info.Mike

Mike I put mine on in the same location as the driverside. I didn't like the look of the passenger side setting back further, I just can't see the top left corner of the mirror.
I'll look in my assembly manual to see if I can find specific numbers.

The driver's side mirror is 6 1/2" from the edge of the door and even with the first "crease" (~2" down) The passengers side is in 7 3/4" inches from edge of door and at same height. Hope that helps.
