Talking 69 with VRod

I finally lost my mind and will eventually end up in the poor house but it is the coolest bike I have ever seen. So I bought it on Friday and rode it 125 miles yesterday all I can say is Wow.

It rides smooth seems to handle well and is quick as hell. I am taking ir pretty easy to first 500 miles but I am up to 200+ miles for the weekend. I have never owned a bike but I love it if I would have known it was this much fun I may have waiting on the 69.

My Dad just bought a V-Rod. He won't get it until next year, but they sure look cool.

The 69 is my "driver" whenever I am not at work I drive a company vehicle most of the time. Thanks for the compliments and I will have to check out Britany's video. There are more pic's on webshots just follow the links if you are interested. Randy that would be nice but the total of my riding experience is the 200 miles I put on it this weekend so I need alot more ride time before I cruise on down the highway.

72futuresweet2wd- Have you been to a riding course yet? If you can get into one, they put out alot of good info, and teach some riding skills that you'd never think of. Even after 23 years of riding, I was amazed at what I didn't know. Have fun, and watch out for the idiots!!

Randy I haven't gotten in the course yet but I plan on going ASAP there is an ABATE course here locally that I will get some info on. I definently want to get some good training on rider safety I have keep it somewhat on the back roads this weekend no highway rides and all under 60 mph just getting a good feel for it. This is one powerful bike and I know I could get hurt real easy if I am not careful.

Angry 69 with VRod (Update Accident)

Bad deal, last night while my bike was parked some jack@ss backed into it and knocked it over. It is drivable but he took something perfect and screwed it up. WTF is wrong with people he said he wasn't paying attention and he was in a hurry. Then I take it to the dealer this morning and he tells me it could be 30-60 days because they don't have replacement parts and they will have to steal them from assembly. The bright side is I was not on it but that is little comfort considering I have only had it since Friday.

The damage was over 2 grand and the insurance company says they want to give me $10 a day for loss of use. It is sunny and in the 70's here today and I should be riding (and if they think $10 is enough compensation over not riding even 1 mile today they are nuts). I thought that offer was pretty funny considering that wouldn't even make this months payment. Sorry to keep *****en.

Here is a sample of the damage.
