Locking tilt columns...

I searched for this, but did not find anything...

I was wondering if anyone has put locking tilt columns into 72 or earlier trucks? If so, what year did you put into your truck, and how much work was it?

I really like the idea of having the key on the column and the spot on the dash filled in...

Any and all help with this is highly appreciated.

Thanks,

NutZ

It's a catastrophic success.

All of the locking columns have a much bigger outer shaft size that keeps it from just bolting right up, but a late 70s or 80s with a cutting torch and sledge hammer can be made to fit.LOL
