HELP! Need Saginaw 3 spd part!!!
Does anyone have an imput shaft out there for a saginaw 3spd. I have extra's, but I need one for a piece of equipment I made years ago and it has to have one a diameter of .885" between the splines for the clutch and the trans case ball bearing for a carrier bearing setup I made then. If anyone has one give me a shout, PLEASE!
Thanks, TP

I have a three speed that might be right. Its a 10 spline with 7 bolts on the cover and 21 inches long. That the right one?

Here is what is left of it...........I bent the out put shaft on it. Then tried to re-weld it together after facing the parts on the Lathe(Hillbilly engineer)..........In total failure I need just this part, which is all one piece. I'd like to have the area between the cut and the splines where the clutch would mount .885" in diameter as I have a sleeve that splits in half for a carrier bearing I machined, but as with anything else, will take what you have so if you have one let me know the price. Like I said, it would be nice to have one .885" in diameter, but.......... Yell on this thread and I'll contact you through email. Thanks TP

Would you just want to put that piece out of it and sell me it? I really don't need anymore parts laying around. I have 4 of everything else for a saginaw except the one I need

I don't know what it is worth? What the value to you?
I'll get you a picture of the Case tonight, I'd imagine they all use that same imput shaft.

No, not all 3 speeds are the same in these trucks. There are 2 or 3 different ones. I believe you can identify them by the bolts on the side cover. I have the tranny that has 7 bolts on the cover.
