Lowering shocks for 2/4 drop?
For those of you who have lowered with "just springs" 2/4 drop, how is the ride with stock length shocks?. My dad is going to lower his truck soon but recently put 4 brand new KYB shocks on and was hoping to retain them. I guess we can always try them. I have heard several members in the past say it was no problem using stock length.

It'll stiffen up a lot. I hope the fronts springs are higher compression, progressive coils in front. I replaced my shocks not long before I got new springs (Went with gas-charged nitrogen, very nice), and the truck feels very firm, better tha nmy wifes' honda, and almost like my eclipse, but without the harshness of being rough on long drives. oh, and it handles much better too. I did the 2/4 drop.

Yep all the shocks are good gas charged shocks.
