Headlight
I bought my truck and the headlights didnt work. I replaced the hi-lo swtch and both headlights and they now work. But only on high beam, which isnt all bad but I'm installing the new "blue" bulbs and want to know if ya'll could help me identify a wire under the hood. I was paging through one of my many manuals today to find a place to start troublshooting and I came accross a tan wire that is close to the drivers side of the radaiator corner. At the moment this wire has either been cut or had broken off and is hanging there in the open. It's bare but I cant find the other end.
---I'm wondering if anyone can confirm that this tan wire pertains to the lighting system on our trucks. And if it does where would it have originally been run too. If not what is it? MUCH THANKS FOR ANY HELP

A tan wire should attach to the center terminal of the drivers side headlight. Actually two tan wires one runs to the bulk head connector the other runs to the passenger side headlight plug.
