Whats this set up worth???

How much would you guy's pay for a 4 speed tranny with a np205 and a brand new clutch (unsure of breed)?

The tranny is 4 speed with granny low and it's out of a 83 1-ton so is the X-case

would that make it a sm465? are they any good?

are the np205's a good X-case?

Right now I have a 350 with a th350/203 X-case and the part time kit

will these swap out alright?

thanks alot

i just recently bought an sm465/205 combo for $250 including everything to swap it into my blazer(bellhousing, shifters, pedals. I had to buy a clutch and flywheel which cost me about $200 for both. This combo is pretty damn strong, and i love it in my blazer

so $300 with a brand new clutch isn't too bad considering I have a parts truck with all the pedals I also have a fly wheel unless there is a differnce between 4X2 and 4X4 fly wheels because I have one the came off a motor that i swapped to auto.

does anyone know if there is differences between 4X2 and 4X4 flywheels?

so did they put sm465 in the 1-tons in 83 or what else could it be?

One more question I was just reading another post and it said the np203 is longer than the np205 would that mean i need new drive shafts?

Thanks alot

i tried to sell my whole setup, minus the clutch assembly for $250, and only got one bite on it. its still sitting in my garage. is the trans and case still bolted together or have they been separated? if the have been separated, is the output shaft of the trans a 10 spline, or a 32 spline? also, is the adapter a round pattern, or is it a figure 8 adapter? the 32 spline units are more desirable, and could go for a little more. mine is the more common 10 spline figure 8 version.

fixed rear yoke or slip yoke

most people dont like the slip yokes. if its a fixed yoke people will be more interested
